It's Always About Clothes

mommy and kai

After having lunch with Ron I drove home, in the pouring rain, with enough time to get situated and watch Oprah. Pretty Excited since today's show is on the faces behind the name so she has Louis Vuitton's Creative Director Marc Jacobs. The face behind Jimmy Choo, Tamara Melon. Elmo's Puppeteer, Kevin Clash. The inspiration behind Barbie, Barbara Segal. I've decided I want to buy a coat from Marc Jacobs for the remainder of the California cold weather season. I was eating breakfast at Millies last week and a girl sat next to me and she had on such a wonderful Marc Jacobs Peacoat. I was salivating and really couldn't help staring. I love what Marc Jacobs has done with the Louis Vuitton line and his own line is absolutely fantastic. I read an article recently that talked about Marc's venture into the luxury baby clothes arena. He was launching a line of cashmere baby basics. I love my kids but they aren't getting cashmere pants before I do. Marc's clothes has such a wonderful vintage feel just like Nanette Lepore.
